A project started in the early 90s, when a series of acquisitions begin to give substance to an important Sicilian productive reality that today, thanks to the tenacity of its founders and the passion of the younger generation, has a corporate structure that extends for over 300 hectares .
It is the beginning of a productive path that will lead to the birth, in 2000, of an important structure of processing and marketing of ‘company products intended to go beyond the borders of the country and allow to realize a business project focused on the production, processing and marketing of agricultural products of superior quality, typical of a territory, the Sicilian one, particularly suited to the cultivation of prickly pear and almond, as well as grain and olive.
Author of this production challenge and market Grassenio Gaetano, founder of ‘company and creator of the production paths and the same market, which sees in the typical productions d’ excellence the turning point of ‘Sicilian agriculture.
These were years of high enthusiasm, but also the commitment and perseverance that have made it possible to ‘Azienda Agricola Grassenio to reach the right level of awareness and maturity to face the market challenges of modern agriculture.
Today, thanks to the contribution of the new generation – in the person of his sons Francesco, and Emilio Emanuela that alternate ‘s work on the farm with moments of intense academic study in the economic, legal and agrarian l’ Azienda Agricola Grassenio produces and markets its products in many foreign countries, evidence of our ability to meet the growing challenge of internationalization of markets through unique products and quality established.
